Yvan Muller to contest Race of Champions
Reigning World Touring Car Champion Yvan Muller will again compete in the Race Of Champions, this year to be held in Beijing at the Birds Nest stadium.
The event takes place on Wednesday November 4th, just a few days after the next round of the WTCC in Japan.
Yvan Muller is the second WTCC driver confirmed for the event, as Triple champion Andy Priaulx has already been confirmed for the event.
This will be the fourth consecutive year the Frenchman has competed in the event, but he is yet to take the title.
So far other drivers confirmed include V8 Supercars champion Jamie Whincup, seven times Le Mans 24 Hours winner and DTM driver Tom Kristensen, and former Race Of Champions Champion (and twice DTM champion) Mattias Ekstrom.
They will be going up drivers from other series, such as rally driver Mikko Hirvonen, and a slew of top Formula 1 drivers, including current championship leader Jenson Button, seven times champion Michael Schumacher and Sebastien Vettel, and F1 and sportscar veteran Emmanuele Pirro.
