Ring Djursland picture special

Last weekend the penultimate round of the 2009 Danish Touring Car Championship was held at the Ring Djursland. With James Thompson not present, all the other drivers tried to score as many points as possible to catch up with the British driver. This provided some great racing, and even resulted in some chaos. Gripping Media was at the scene and provided TouringCarTimes with pictures of the action.

With two races to go, James Thompson led the standings with a 13 point margin. Jan Magnussen was able to wheel in most points, by taking two wins and a second place. Second placed man in the standings Michel Nykjær only managed to score 6 points, but is still the runner up in the standings.
