Lundgaard takes it again for Chevrolet
Henrik Lundgaard really likes the Ring Djursland, which he proved by taking the fastest time at the second free practice at round 6 of the Danish Touring Car Championship. However the difference was smaller, only 0,081 of a second down to Martin Jensen of the Ree Sport team.
A broken turbo from a support class meant, that the track was engulfed in kitty litter. With the sunny but somewhat windy conditions, dust was everywhere under this session.
Hans Hartmann Pedersen had to end his practice session early, as the Honda Accord only ran on three out of four cylinders. At the end of the session, Jens Reno Møller also came into the pits with a sick sounding Seat engine.
Hartmann Honda driver, Per Poulsen, was the only Honda on the track preparing his attack on the Independents throne, residing in third spot. Jan Magnussen was fourth and the other Independent Cup title competer.
The Invitation Only class was led by John Hansen in tenth spot, with half a second down to Martin Marrill in eleventh.
The qualification has been put forward to 14.50, as the track has to be empty at 16.00. A breakdown of a support class car meant, that the time table has broken.
