André Couto up for factory BMW at Macau

Macau specialist André Couto is up for a factory BMW drive during the World Touring Car Championship finale at Macau.
“I am negotiating with BMW factory teams. It can be Schnitzer, but most likely it is going to be ROAL,” said Couto to Ponto Final.

Last year Couto drove for N-Technology during the Macau race, but will for this year seemingly team up with Alessandro Zanardi and Sergio Hernández.

The 32 year old Portuguese has most recently been racing in the Japanese Super GT championship where he has as of yet scored one podium finish.

There are a number of other extra entries expected for the race at Macau, including Carrera Cup Asia race winner Rodolfo Avila.
