Robert Dahlgren on pole once again

Robert Dahlgren mastered the tricky conditions at Våler in Norway. The Volvo man lapped the track in 1:06.120, a time that was 0.248 seconds faster than Richard Göransson.
“Great, I am very pleased with this pole,” said Dahlgren.

Göransson held the pole for long in the second qualifying session but was passed by Dahlgren with minutes left.

Johan Stureson took third position ahead of championship leader Thed Björk. The Flash Engineering driver was fastest in the first qualifying session but lost out as the track started to dry up in the second session.

“I must say that I am pleased, despite that I lost out a bit when the track got more dry,” said Björk.

Tomas Engström claimed fifth ahead of Robin Rudholm and a disappointed Tommy Rustad in seventh.

“We just did not got the setup right, that’s life sometimes,” said Rustad.

Fredrik Ekblom took eight position ahead of Jan “Flash” Nilsson.
