James Thompson leads first practice

The British Hartmann Honda driver, James Thompson, lead the first practice session at round five of the Danish Touring Car Championship, at FDM Jyllandsringen. Thompson has to put all in at this round, as he will have to sit out the last two DTC rounds due to obligations in other race series.

It was a Honda 1-2 as teammate Per Poulsen was only 0,031 of Thompson’s fastest time.

Martin Jensen was third, in front of Jason Watt. The Chevrolet gang was fifth and sixth with Henrik Lundgaard leading Michel Nykjær.

Back in business was Casper Elgaard in his FDM Motorsport Seat Leon, while KP Racing’s Tom Pedersen was absent due to an engine breakdown in testing.

The fastest privateer was Per Poulsen in second, while John Hansen led the Invitation Only class in 14th spot.

Next session is the second free practice 13.50
