Johnny Herbert tested for Dynamics

Previous Formula One driver Johnny Herbert drove the British Touring Car Championship test at Rockingham for Team Dynamics today.
“That was great fun and I’ve seen what these lads get up to during a race so who knows? Let’s see.” said Herbert.

Herbert was 12th fastest, driving James Thompson’s Honda Civic, 0.962 seconds from the fastest time.

The fastest time of the day was set by Thompson in the very same car.

“This was my first time on track in a BTCC race car, let alone a front-wheel-drive race car, but I’m very impressed with its performance and also the BTCC paddock set-up as a whole.”

Herbert has won three Formula One Grand Prix for Benetton and Steward, as well as one Le Mans 24 hour victory.

It is yet undecided if Herbert is going to take part in a BTCC race for Dynamics, stay tuned to the subject!
