Jason Plato takes command at Croft

Jason Plato took command in the second practice session at Croft. The Chevrolet driver was three tenths faster than his closest competitor Colin Turkington. Team RAC made both cars in to top three as Stephen Jelley was third fastest, half a second slower than Plato.

British Touring Car Championship newcomer James Nash improved a lot and was fourth fastest.

Fellow Chevrolet driver Mat Jackson was really close, only 0.014 seconds separated the both.

James Thompson, who was fastest in the first practice session, was sixth fastest ahead of Vauxhall man Andrew Jordan.

Paul O’Neil in the BTC specification Honda Integra was eight fastest ahead of Jonathan Adam and Dan Eaves.
