Gothenburg Volvo domination continues

Volvo drivers Robert Dahlgren and Tommy Rustad continued on top as the second test session at Gothenburg City Race Arena was completed.
“I am very pleased, the team has given me a perfect car! It is just too bad that I have to be moved ten places down on the grid tomorrow,” said Dahlgren.

Tomas Engström showed strong form in the now Mugen powered Honda Accord in third.

Chevrolet man Thomas Schie was fourth fastest, only 0.050 seconds behind Engström.

The times behind the two Volvo’s were really close. Only three tenths covered third to tenth man.

Privately entered Roger Eriksson was fifth fastest ahead of reigning champion Richard Göransson.

Göransson was followed by rival BMW driver Thed Björk. Mattias Andersson and Johan Stureson were extremely close as just one thousand of a second separated the both.

Jan “Flash” Nilsson rounded off top ten.
