James Thompson heads the standings
After round two of the Danish Touring Car Championship, there is a new leader on top of the standings. James Thompson managed to clinch the overall points lead, from Michel Nykjær with only 1 point. In the Privaters Cup, Per Poulsen is the leader from Jens Møller. And the Invitation Only lead is now held by Martin Marrill.
Hartmann Honda now has the stronghold of the DTC, in both championships.
But the overall standing is divided by only 1 point, making it a close battle between James Thompson on 97 points and Michel Nykjær on 96 points.

In the Privateers Cup, Hartmann Honda driver Per Poulsen has now the lead with 108 points from Jens Møller, who dropped to third with only 92 points. Michael Carlsen managed to pass Møller as well in second with 92 points, despite a broken steering.

In the Invitation Only class, stability is the name of the game. As long as you finish every race, you will score points. And that is exactly what Seat Supercopa driver Martin Marrill has done, and now he is on top of the standings. Jens Ole Mathiesen and John Hansen has managed to win heats, but was also unfortunate to stand out several races due to damage. John Hansen won the final heat at Padborg Open.

The DTC team championship is still lead by Chevrolet Motorsport Denmark, featurering Michel Nykjær and Henrik Lundgaard. Both drivers are very consistent, but Hartmann Honda is catching up, having James Thompson and Per Poulsen scoring points and wins every time. Ree Sport with Jan Magnussen and Martin Jensen has had their fair share of problems, which is why they are down on points in third place.
