Thompson regains lead in warm up

After missing pole in Round 2 to Chevrolet driver Henrik Lundgaard, James Thompson showed he has not given up on victory in the upcoming Heat 1. Setting the fastest time in warm up with 3 tenths of a second, in front of the 15 kilos lighter Jan Magnussen and Henrik Lundgaard.

Todays warm-up at Padborg Park was held in an intense but calm atmosphere. The favourites for victory in Heat 1 will certainly be the Chevrolet drivers Henrik Lundgaard in third spot and Michel Nykjær in fourth.

Hartmann Honda driver Per Poulsen was the fastest driver in the privateer class making it to fifth spot, beating Jens Reno Møller in their ongoing fight for the cup. Invitation Only was lead by Seat Supercopa driver John Hansen in fourteenth, followed closely by Jens Ole Mathiesen in fifthteenth.

Jens Ole Mathiesen is an active hunter, and started the morning by participating in the regional championships, hurrying from an early morning qualification to the DTC warm up.

Heat 1 will start at 12.15.
