Poulsen curious about Watt crash
Hartmann Honda driver, Per Poulsen, entered the pit after race two in the Danish Touring Car Championship premiere with some additional striping on his white Honda Accord. The culprit was Seat driver Jason Watt, after a come together after the Horseshoe turn at FDM Jyllandsringen.
Privateer Poulsen was up on two wheels at the incident, but he was curious and philosophic about the whole deal.
Jason Watt later received a punishment after the incident from race management, while the Hartmann Honda crew had to ready the car for the following finale.
“I am fighting Jason Watt, “ Poulsen said to TouringCarTimes.com. “We are heading to the turn at the new part of the track. Jason seems to have big problems turning in to the turns, so I decide to go outside him in the lefthander.”
“I passed him, or at least so I think. But then he hits me. I guess that he didn’t see me coming. He received a punishment for the crash, so that’s it for me.”
