Jensen: “Thompson apologized to me”

Race two at the Danish Touring Car Championship premiere at Jyllandsringen saw James Thompson hit the Alternative Engineering driver Martin Jensen hard. The green and white BMW 320i E90 of Jensen didn’t make it to turn two of the second DTC race.

The culprit was James Thompson, and Jensen had to limb around at the back of the field after the incident.

After the episode, Martin Jensen was left frustrated in the pit. But when he was asked about the incident, he revealed that he already spoke to the British Honda driver:

“There is a lot of drama at the start of the heat,” Jensen explained to TouringCarTimes.com. “To be honest, I am looking harder at the front than in my mirrors. I get a hard nudge in the back of my car, and suddenly I am facing the wrong way.”

“But after the heat Thompson came by and offered his apologies. He took the blame of the incident, which was nice of him. Now we just have to look forward to the finale, and get going again.”
