Johan Stureson waits for Peugeot

Johan Stureson is waiting for a decision from Peugeot Sweden ahead of the Swedish Touring Car Championship season 2009.
“They have said to me that they are onboard this year, but we have not got it on paper yet,” said Stureson to kristianstadsbladet.se.

The entry deadline for STCC 2009 is march the 15th. Stureson hopes he has got a decision from Peugeot then.

“We have to work from that. We do not know yet the extent of their involvement. Right now we are working on the car as if everything was set, so that we are ready for the season,” said Stureson.

Even though Peugeot is the main partner, not all partners of the teams are connected to Peugeot according to the Swede.

“Some sponsors are connected to Peugeot and we cannot finalize our details with them until Peugeot have maid up their mind. But the other sponsors are ready and will continue with us for the coming season,” said Stureson.
