Bruno Spengler stays with Mercedes

The new DTM season is still a long time away. All the seats at Audi have been filled, except for one last seat with the non-works team Futurecom TME. At Mercedes there are still a lot of question marks. Only Ralf Schumacher has been confirmed by Mercedes so far. One of last years drivers that had a new car, Bruno Spengler, confirms he will be part of the new 2009 DTM season as well.

“I’m looking forward the first round of the season. The break is particularly long this year”, Spengler said. The 2009 DTM championship will start on May 17th in Hockenheim.

The young Canadian uses his time to work out, so he can start the new season completely fit. “I put all my energy to prepare myself physically in order to be on top in Hockenheim in two months.”

“I work very hard, every day. I play a lot tennis, some games and tournaments, which is very good for me because I miss the competition. I also enjoy cross-country skiing.”
