2009 DTC calendar confirmed

The calendar for the Danish Touring Car Championship 2009 has been released. The calendar features eight races at four different tracks: Jyllandsringen, Padborg Park, Copenhagen GP and Ring Djursland. The race in Copenhagen is not a proper race, but rather a qualifying race where the cars will drive alone on a time trial.

A Super Pole-session will be held at the Copenhagen Grand Prix-event where each driver will race against the clock over two laps.

The race weekend setup has been changed. The weekend will start with two practice sessions followed by qualifying on the first day. The second day will feature two qualifying races and a final race.
