Liam McMillan to drive SEAT Toledo

Liam McMillan is going to enter the British Touring Car Championship 2009. The 18-year-old Brit will drive a SEAT Toledo run by an independent team.
“I’ve made big steps in my racing career very quickly. This next stage will be nerve-racking and I expect it will take time to adapt, but I’m only 18 years old and time is on my side,” said McMillan.

World Touring Car Championship Chevrolet-driver Robert Huff is acting as mentor for McMillan. Behind McMillan is also his father, Paul McMillan.

“Liam’s been driving cars that are just as fast as British Touring Car vehicles, but with such a big audience, he’ll be competing on a much bigger stage,” said Paul McMillan.

Last year McMillan drove in the Spanish SEAT Leon Supercopa series.
