Organization tests emissions of RAC BMW

The British Touring Car Championship organizers continues to test the emissions of the cars in the championship. The Team RAC BMW 320si E90 is the most recent car to undergo the test ahead of the 2009 season, the Vauxhall Vectra was tested a couple of weeks earlier.

The goal for the BTCC organizers with these tests are to drive down the C02 levels of the racing cars to the levels of their showroom counterparts.
