Diesel SEAT’s available for customers
SEAT has confirmed that their diesel engines will be available for customers. The two cars ran by the, now retired, SEAT works-team in the British Touring Car Championship this year will be up for sale.
Once the dust has settled, the cars will be put up for sale,” SEAT’s UK motorsport manager Scott Dennis said to Autosport.
“SEAT UK owns the cars, the money would go there. We’ll sell them to the best bidder and they can run them wherever they want to run them. Hopefully we’ll see them in the BTCC next year.”
It is still unclear which teams are going to try and buy the diesel SEAT’s.
