Oschersleben confirmed for 2009

Oschersleben will continue to host the World Touring Car Championship in 2009. The WTCC has run races on the German track since 2005.
“Our contract with KSO, the promotor of the FIA WTCC runs until 2009,” said Tomas Voss, managing director of Oschersleben, to Motorsport Aktuell.

The German WTCC-event is a popular one, this year over 40.000 persons visited the event.

The official WTCC 2009 calendar will be revealed on November 18th during the FIA World Council meeting in Paris.
