BTC Racing return at Oulton Park

BTC Racing will return to the HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship this weekend at Oulton Park after missing round six of the chamionship at Snetterton.
The team will be running regular driver Chris Stockton and their ‘stand-in’ driver Gareth Howell will race the car normally used by Truck Racing Champion, Stuart Oliver.

Apart from someone claiming to be a team member posting on the official BTCC.net forum, no official announcements have been made by the team about their movements.

No announcement has been made either as to the position of Stuart Oliver in the team as rumours persist that he has parted with the team to concentrate on his Truck Racing.

Oulton Park is Chris Stockton’s local track and if they can get the Toledo set right, Stockton will perform well.

Gareth Howells last visit to Oulton Park in the Seat Toledo on the other hand, was a disaster, crashing out on his own, on a wet track, almost destroying the car.

It turned out to be the last time he raced for the Motorbase Performance team last season. Lets hope things will be better for the Londoner this time round.
