Jens Edman will drive Peugeot in DTC

Jens Edman will continue in the Danish Touring Car Championship this year. Speculations were many during the winter that Edman would join Opel in the Swedish Touring Car Championship. But the Swedish team were unable to get funds, so instead Edman will drive a Peugeot 407 for Team Go Racing in DTC.
“It has taken quite a while this year to be able to present my plans, but that does not mean that I have been lazy,” said Edman.

“I have trained hard and the team has worked very hard to get everything in position and we will present the entire team in Denmark this weekend,” said Edman.

The team will along side the Peugeot 407 for Edman also run two Peugeot Spider. Those races will be over four hours and Edman will be one of the drivers.

Last season Edman finished in ninth position in the championship. Team manager Gert Koustrup is confident that Edman will improve his position this year.
“I have big expectations on both Edman and the car. We have developed new parts on the car during the winter. Sadly we have not been able to perform any tests, the first one will be this weekend,” said Koustrup.
