The STCC goes virtual in 2008

The Swedish Touring Car Championship will go virtual just as the World Touring Car Championship. SimBin, who developed the WTCC-game (Race 07), are in the process of developing a STCC-version.
“The STCC will be an all-year-sport when we finally can run our Swedish teams on Swedish tracks virtually,” said Bob Huzell, MD of STCC AB.

Simbin have already gathered information and data of all Swedish tracks and will present a sneak-peak of the game at the STCC-premiere at Knutstorp this weekend.

“To re-create the tracks that I have raced on my self is still among the best things I know. To be able to do it with STCC and their professional concept makes things even better,” said Simbin MD Henrik Roos who has been competing professionally within racing for many years.

The Simbin-truck will feature a total of 15 simulators at Knutstorp where you can drive an early version of the Knutstorp-track.
