Emmet O’Brien joins Poulsen in DTC

On Friday afternoon Poulsen Motorsport announced its line-up in this year’s Danish Touringcar Championship. Team owner Kristian Poulsen, Padborg, reigning Danish and European champion Michel Nykjær, Tappernøje, and former winner Jesper Sylvest, have long been confirmed drivers, but today a fourth name was added.

The new driver is Emmet O’Brien, Ireland. He will be a newcomer to the Danish Touringcar Championship, but not to Poulsen Motorsport. The Irishman drove for the team, when Poulsen Motorsport last autumn took part in the FIA European Touring Car Cup at Adria, where Kristian Poulsen finished third overall – two places behind Michel Nykjær and a one place ahead of … Emmet O’Brien!

Later today we hope to be able to publish some photographs on Poulsen Motorsport’s new driver as well as the new livery of the team’s cars.
