200.000 fans at DTM presentation

Never before has more spectators attended the DTM-presentation in Düsseldorf. A total of 200.000 persons were present according to police sources.
“The unbelievable feedback of Duesseldorf’s population shows once more how popular DTM is. Now we are looking forward to a fantastic start to the season in Hockenheim,” said ITR-chairman Hans-Werner Aufrecht.

The present spectators got to experience pit stops, demonstration runs of the DTM-cars, autograph-sessions, live music and more.

“You can see F1-drivers only on TV – but this here is great”, many visitors commented.

Present drivers were, among others, champion Mattias Ekström and previous Formula One-star Ralf Schumacher.
