Tiago Monteiro takes last practise session
SEAT back at the top, but not as dominant as before. SEAT-driver Tiago Monteiro only just popped ahead of Nicola Larini in his Chevrolet, with a mere 0.010s seperating the two. For a long time it looked like Tom Coronel in the semi-works SEAT was going to get third place. But in the last minutes of the session Rickard Rydell slipped in between the two front runners and the Dutchman.
Spanish driver Jordi Gené, who showed his form in the previous two sessions, now had to settle for fifth. He was closely followed by Robert Huff. Jörg Müller was the fastest BMW man in seventh.
Pierre-Yves Corthals, fastest privateer in the previous two sessions with impressive fast laptimes, now dropped back to 15th place, although still being the fastest privateer.
