Adam Jones confirms his return

Adam Jones has confirmed that he is to take part in the 2008 HiQ MSA British Touring Car Champonship in a GR Asia run SEAT Leon.
Adam competed in part of the 2007 BTCC with another GR Asia run car, a SEAT Toledo, under the Team AirCool banner and has confirmed that he will be present at the BTCC media day on March 12.

On a statement on Adam’s web-site:

Following on from the successes of last year Adam is pleased to be competing in all ten rounds of the 2008 BTCC having obtained the support of his sponsors in particular Air Cool Engineering and Bodywork (Solihull). He has been in negotiation with Seat Sport in Barcelona for a Leon but due to the workload at the factory the car will not be available for the Media Day at Rockingham but is due for delivery before the first round at Brands Hatch at the end of March.

For 2008 Adam has once again teamed up with Paul Ridgeway of GR-Asia who will be running the car. Paul said “I am very pleased to be involved with Adam and Team Air Cool and Bodywork (Solihull) for the forthcoming season as I feel we showed in 2007 how competitive we can be an an independent team and look forward to building upon this”
