Katherine Legge reported to join Audi

According to our reports the major Audi-test days at the end of 2007 with new drivers resulted in the signing of Katherine Legge. The 25 year old Brit will most likely drive for the TME team in DTM. Legge has previously raced in the British F3 and Formula Renault championships plus most recently Champ Car in the US.

Another of the women drivers that were present at the Audi-tests was the Finn Emma Kimiläinen. According to our reports she has also been contracted by Audi, but not to race in the DTM. Instead she will compete in the Italian series Superstars behind the wheel of an Audi RS4.

This is to prepare her for an eventual debut in the DTM in two seasons. Reportedly Legge and Kimiläinen were fastest of the drivers present at the DTM test.
