DTC switches to BTCC Dunlop tyres

The Danish Touring Car Championship will next year change to the same Dunlop tyres as the British Touring Car Championship. The major change is that the rear tyres goes from seven to nine inches.
“The tyre from the BTCC is faster and if you setup your car right, it lasts longer as well. You can fine tune the car better with these tyres at the same time as they last longer,” said Jan O. Pedersen that provide the tyres during the race weekends.

The Danish Touring Car Championship has for the last couple of years driven on Dunlop tyres.

There is a wide selection of tyre choises in the different major touring car series around Europe. BTCC and DTC on Dunlop, STCC on Michelin and the WTCC on Yokohama.
