Honda introduce extended STCC-program

The Swedish Touring Car Championship Honda team will introduce their program for 2008 on December the 7th. Honda calls it their biggest launch on the series ever.
“The interest for STCC is getting bigger and bigger for each year and now we are making our biggest launch ever to reach the top,” said Carina Prodenius-Wihlborg, PR Manager of Honda Sweden.

There has been a lot of rumors recently around the formation of the 2008 Honda STCC team. Previously Picko Troberg was pointed out to be the new leader of the team, but this seems not to be the case now.

According to our information Tomas Engström will continue driving and keep his team but with the addition of a second Honda Accord. The driver of this car is expected to be 2006 champion and previous Audi-driver Thed Björk.
