Danish SEAT team considering STCC move

Team Sturup Raceway ran two SEAT Leon in the Danish Touring Car Championship this year. Carsten Leveau and Gunnar Kristensen were behind the wheel of the cars. Team owner Flemming Schleimann is considering a move to the Swedish Touring Car Championship next year.
“STCC is a good championship and we are looking at different alternatives at the moment,” said Schleimann.

The team has raced in the DTC since 1999 and could for the first time leave the Danish home soil for STCC.
“Nothing is settled yet. We have two STCC races at our home track (Sturup) and we have seen what the STCC is in a completely different way this year. A move to STCC is of course an interesting alternative,” said Schleimann.

The driver line up and the cars will remain the same for 2008.
