BF Motorsport confirm Alessandro Thellung for full TCR Italy season

BF Motorsport confirmed today they will field Alessandro Thellung in one of their SEAT Leóns. The team also announced they will have three cars on the grid, one of which will have Trofeo delle Industrie winner Nicolò Zin behind the wheel.

Alessandro Thellung started his career in 2015 in the Kia Venga Cup, with the LPG/Hybrid Kia Vengas. He raced last year in the SEAT Ibiza Cup Italy last year, finishing in the points on five occasions and taking a best result of fourth before interrupting the programme after three events.

After a test as a candidate to the Porsche France Scholarship, Thellung switched his focus to touring cars and signed with Imerio Brigliadori’s team for the full TCR Italy season. The Rome-based driver will share the DSG-equipped León with another driver, who is yet to be confirmed. The driver tested the car at Adria last week, already clocking interesting lap times in his first outing at the wheel of the León TCR.

BF Motorsport had positive results last year, as Romy Dall’Antonia and Samuele Piccin took five podiums on their way to third in the championship.
