MC Corse enters Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR for Massimo Gagliano

Former SEAT León Cup Italia front runner Massimo Gagliano confirmed today he will be at the wheel of a Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR run by MC Corse.

The Italian driver, who finished seventh in last year’s León Cup, had already taken part in TCR Italy, having raced at Magione last year, taking a podium at the wheel of a SEAT León DSG.

Gagliano will be the sole representative of the German brand in Italy: “I am proud to be at the wheel of the sole Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR in the championship”, said the Lainate-based driver. “My aim is to score podiums consistently.” The Golf is imported by Scuderia del Girasole, which operates the works SEAT Motorsport Italia programme.
