Frédéric Vervisch joins Comtoyou Racing from Spa

30-year-old Belgian sportscar driver Frédéric Vervisch will drive Comtoyou Racing’s second Audi RS 3 from next weekend’s round of the series at Spa-Francorchamps, and for the rest of the season.

The former Belgian Audi Club WRT driver will race the team’s second RS 3 LMS, unofficially named “Lou”, which was broken in at Spa-Francorchamps last weekend in the TCR Benelux series, taking three victories on Sunday driven by Stefano Comini and Sheldon van der Linde.

Vervisch will race the team’s Audi RS 3 in TCR International, in addition to racing in the Blancpain GT Series and ADAC GT Masters.

He partners with Stefano Comini at Comtoyou Racing, who had dubbed his car “Trinity” as he chases his third drivers’ title.

“Frédéric Vervisch will be driving the Audi RS 3 LMS TCR for the rest of the season and I’m delighted,” said team principal Jean-Michel Baert.
