Stefano Comini to share Comtoyou Audi with Sheldon van der Linde at Spa

Defending TCR International Series champion Stefano Comini will share a Comtoyou Racing Audi RS 3 LMS with TCR Germany driver Sheldon van der Linde in the TCR Benelux curtain raiser at Spa-Francorchamps this weekend.

The duo will be behind the wheel of the Audi recently delivered by the German manufacturer, which is to be used in the International Series to expand the single-car effort of the Belgian team from the next event. Comini will take the opportunity to get to grips with the RS 3 LMS, while van der Linde looked comfortable in the Audi during TCR Germany pre-season testing at Oschersleben, in which he set the pace.

“This is a fantastic chance to continue to develop the Audi,” said Comini to motorsport.com. “In the first few races we have struggled due to the Balance of Performance, but there is potential and I will have the chance to have fun in TCR Benelux, like I did last year. I will also have the chance to keep fit and prepare the next event of the TCR International Series at Spa-Francorchamps.”

The TCR International Series will go to Spa-Francorchamps on May 6th, as part of the support package of the World Endurance Championship.
