Daniel Nagy re-signs with Zengö Motorsport

Daniel Nagy will continue to drive for Zengö Motorsport in the 2017 World Touring Car Championship.

The 18-year-old will be team-mate to Aurélien Panis, the son of ex-Formula 1 driver Olivier Panis, with the duo driving two independent Honda Civic WTCC race cars.

“I am really emotional right now because I only recently received the news that Zoli (Zengö team manager) will trust me with one of his cars this year as well,” said Nagy.

“Thank you for everyone who helped me so far and I’ll be trying to pay back the support with as many championship points as possible.”

Nagy missed the first half of the 2016 season and finished eighth in the independent drivers’ championship with 11th as his best overall race result.
