Tom Coronel back for seventh straight season with ROAL

Tom Coronel will be back in the 2017 World Touring Car Championship for a seventh consecutive season with ROAL Motorsport.

The Dutchman becomes the first confirmed Chevrolet driver for the 2017 season and will drive the same RML Cruze TC1 that he drove last year.

The announcement of Coronel’s 2017 WTCC programme runs under the ”same, same, never change a winning team” banner, meaning that he will run the same livery, with the same sponsors and the same team set-up as last year.

Coronel finished 11th overall and third in the independent drivers’ championship last season with two overall race victories.
