Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky confirmed at PWR Racing in an Audi

PWR Racing has confirmed that Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky will drive for the team this season, racing an Audi RS 3 LMS in the 2017 Scandinavian Touring Car Championship.

“To take the step into the STCC feels like a big move forward in my career and an amazing opportunity to develop as driver,” said Åhlin-Kottulinsky.

The 24-year-old drove in ADAC GT Masters last season and in the Audi Sport TT Cup in year prior. This year will be her first in touring cars, competing in five of the seven rounds of the championship 

“The team is the strongest on paper ahead of the season and I really look forward to be a part of PWR Racing this year,” said Åhlin-Kottulinsky.

PWR Racing has previously only been the SEAT Dealer Team, but today confirm the expansion of their programme to include the sister brand Audi in their junior team.

“That Mikaela is going to race with our completely new Audi RS 3 LMS is something we see positively,” said Tom Hedström, head of marketing at Audi Sweden. “And for PWR Racing to maintain our programme feels natural as they already represent several makes within the concern successfully.”
