DTM calendar for 2017 announced
The DTM organisers have announced the calendar for the 2017 season, which will again feature nine double-header race weekends, visiting the same tracks as this year.
The season will feature five events in Germany and other four are in Hungary, Russia, The Netherlands and Austria. Action will kick off at Hockenheim on the 5-7 of May. Lausitzring will follow two weeks later.
There will be a four week gap until the next round at the Hungaroring, which moves to June from September this year. The iconic Norisring date will take place on the first weekend in July.
The Moscow Raceway will surprisingly hold the fifth round of the season, with the Russian track highly tipped to leave the calendar.
The Zandvoort date moves to the middle of August, with the Nürburgring maintaining its slot in September.
The Red Bull Ring in Austria will welcome the DTM once again, hosting the penultimate round, with the season finale taking place in October at Hockehheim.
