LMS Racing enters one Audi RS 3 for 2017 STCC

Finnish team LMS Racing has confirmed the entry of one Audi RS 3 LMS for the 2017 Scandinavian Touring Car Championship.

”Our team has a long racing history with Audi so it feels natural to race with them. We are also looking to enter one or two further cars for the STCC,” said team manager Antti Buri.

The team raced in the TCR Germany series this season, where Buri finished fourth overall with three victories.

”Our ambition is to drive both the STCC and the Germany championship with two or three cars this coming season and we hope that there are no clashes in the calendar,” said Buri.

The team has not yet confirmed the identity of the driver or whether they will drive all STCC races.

The entry of LMS Racing brings the total up to five cars so far alongside the three SEAT Dealer Team PWR Racing SEATs and the single Volkswagen entry of the Lestrup Racing Team.
