TCR Benelux series confirms its calendar for the 2017 season

The TCR Benelux series has announced its calendar for the 2017 season, the sophomore season of the new Belgian, Luxembourg and Netherlands based championship.

The championship will again consist of six rounds, starting slightly earlier than this season in April in Zolder, returning to the Belgian circuit in July.

Spa-Francorchamps will host the second round of the 2017 TCR Benelux series on June 4th, while Zandvoort and Assen will host the two Dutch rounds of the series in August and October, with a visit to Mettet in Belgium, which is due to host this year’s finale, fitting inbetween them in September.

The announcement was made at Colmarberg in Luxembourg today, which hosted the fourth round of the series, but the new calendar shows that there will be no round in the country in 2017, with the series making two visits to the Belgian circuit of Zolder instead.
