First Alfa Romeo for TCR Benelux to debut at Circuit Goodyear

Team Charleroi will enter the first Alfa Romeo Giulietta for the TCR Benelux Series at Circuit Colmar-Berg in Luxembourg on September 25th.

The car will be driven by Fabio Marchiafava and Loris Cencetti, with the two drivers testing the new car at Circuit Jules Mettet Tacheny recently.

”Everything is new for us. This day of testing was important for us to learn more about the behaviour of the car, to exchange information with our engineers and complete a first setup,” said Nicolas Renga of Team Charleroi.

The team is backed by a Belgian Alfa Romeo dealer, as well as experienced endurance racing team Marc VDS Racing and the races this year are in preparation for a full-season entry next year.

”Their help to us is essential. The first races this year should be considered as a full-scale preparation for 2017. Our task is to accumulate kilometres and as much information as possible,” said Renga.
