Jordi Oriola to make TCR return in Imola

Jordi Oriola will be back in the TCR International Series this weekend at Imola, Italy, for the fourth event of the 2016 season.

The Spaniard, who started the season at the wheel of an Opel Astra TCR run by Target Competition, will return to the series in a Honda Civic TCR.

Pepe Oriola Senior, father to Pepe and Jordi, posted on his Facebook profile a picture of the car his younger son will be driving at the iconic Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari. The announcement contains no information as to which team will run the car for the Spaniard. However, the car shown in the picture features a livery similar to the one used last year on Target Competition’s SEAT Leóns.

Oriola scored eight points in Bahrain at the wheel of the Opel Astra before the car was momentarily withdrawn as Opel chose to focus on the development of the new machine.
