Johan Kristoffersson set for STCC return with PWR Racing

Johan Kristoffersson is going to be confirmed to return to the STCC this year with PWR Racing according to svt.se.

”Nothing is 100% done but both parts have an ambition to agree,” said Tommy Kristoffersson, father and former STCC race winner.

The 23-year-old is currently driving for Volkswagen in the FIA World Rallycross Championship where he finished third overall last year, as well as winning the 2015 Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia.

As we have reported previously, Kristoffersson now looks set to join Emma Kimiläinen and Daniel Haglöf in one of PWR Racing’s SEAT race cars of the 2016 STCC.

The confirmation is expected to be announced later today during the ongoing STCC test at Karlskoga.
