Nika Racing unveil new colours and intentions for 2016

Nika Racing International unveiled new colours for their Honda Civic at an event in Stockholm, Sweden, yesterday where they stated their intentions to be on the grid for the 2016 FIA World Touring Car Championship.

“We are delighted with this addition on the sponsorship side and would like to welcome them both. The preparation and planning for 2016 are in full preparation and lots of important pieces will fall into place in the coming weeks,” said Nicklas Karlsson, Team Principal.

The team ran one car in selected races this season for Rickard Rydell and Néstor Girolami, missing several races due to Rydell suffering from an illness and budget issues.

“2015 was a year with the worst possible development for the team. However, we have learned from this and will return to WTCC 2016 with all the pieces in place,” said Karlsson.

The team has not yet confirmed details about the driver or amount of races to take part in next year.
