Development started on the Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR
The new Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR underwent its first test in Italy at San Martino del Lago, near Cremona.
The Romeo Ferraris built car was driven by previously appointed developement driver Salvatore Tavano, a former Alfa Romeo factory driver in the FIA World Touring Car Championship, as well as ex FIA Formula E driver Michela Cerruti, who made her debut in the TCR International Series at the wheel of a Target Competition SEAT León.
The main focus of the test, which took place last week, was a general check of the car’s mechanical components, as well as early set up work on the engine and the gearbox.
Testing will continue at the same venue next week.
