Sunny Wong expects to adapt quickly to TCR Honda at Macau
Sunny Wong is expecting to adapt quickly to the Honda Civic of WestCoast Racing in the TCR International Series season finale at Macau.
“Although I don’t have experience with this particular car, I think I can adapt to it quickly on the Guia circuit, because our current CTCC car is actually more powerful and more difficult to handle,” said Wong.
The China Touring Car Championship regular becomes the fourth WestCoast Racing driver at Macau and Wong hopes to learn from his team-mates.
“The team’s driver line-up is also very strong. I don’t expect to be able to match Kevin (Gleason), Gianni (Morbidelli) and Rob (Huff) for pace, but I will certainly try my very best to learn from the big boys and support them throughout the event. I had conversations with Rob earlier this year. He is very kind and agreed to teach me some of his Macau tricks, so I guess I already have a head start!” said Wong.
A total of 31 cars have been entered for the 2015 TCR International Series, as reported previously.
