31 cars entered for the 2015 Guia Race of Macau
The 2015 Guia Race of Macau, which this year will be contested by cars raced in the TCR International and Asia Series for the first time, features a provisional entry list of 31 cars, with the addition of the latest TCR car, the Alfa Romeo Giulietta, being built by Superstars Series stalwarts Romeo Ferraris.
A total of seven different manufacturers have been entered for this year’s Suncity Group Macau Guia Race 2.0T, which will take place at 10:00 CST on Sunday 22nd November.
The most represented manufacturer will be SEAT, with 15 cars entered in total, with four cars being run by Craft-Bamboo Racing, and three by Target Competion, whose drivers Pepe Oriola, Jordi Gené and Stefano Comini are in close contention for the drivers’ title.
There will be seven JAS Motorsport developed Honda Civic TCRs entered, four by WestCoast Racing, with season regulars Gianni Morbidelli and Kevin Gleason being joined by China Touring Car Championship regular Sunny Wong and 2012 World Touring Car champion Rob Huff.
Prince Racing will field two Civic TCRs for Kenneth Lau and Michael Choi, while PAS Macau Racing team will also field a car for Ho Wai Kun.
Liqui Moly Team Engstler plan to field three Volkswagen Golf GTIs, with Michael Grachev and Tomas Engström joined by team principal Franz Engstler, racing for the first time since Valencia this season.
Campos Racing will field their two Opel Astra OPCs for Fernando Monje and another driver still to be confirmed, while Top Run will field two Subaru WRX STis for Alain Menu and Luca Rangoni.
The latest addition to the entry is the Romeo Ferraris developed Alfa Romeo Giuletta, which is set to be raced by Mario Ferraris as the famous street race.
