Holden Racing Team joins the dark side at Bathurst with Star Wars livery

Holden Racing Team has unveiled a Star Wars livery for Garth Tander to carry in the legendary Bathurst 1000 race this year.

“Star Wars is the greatest movie franchise in history, so I know there will be a lot of interest around our livery from not only our loyal Holden V8 fans, but Star Wars fans globally,” said Tander.

Tander and co-driver Warren Luff did not take part in the race last year due to a crash in practice, something the Holden driver wants to change this year.

“HRT is the most successful team ever at Mt Panorama and to carry the iconic film franchise on the car is extra incentive to add another Bathurst win to my tally. This is one battle I want the dark side to win,” said Tander.

The 2015 Bathurst 1000 race weekend is held October 8-11th.
