George Chou happy with unexpected pole position

TCR Asia Series pole sitter George Chou did not expect to put his Roadstar Racing Team SEAT León on pole position in the Asia Series.

The driver from Taipei is however delighted to start on pole and almost making it into Q2 on such a difficult track.

“I am very happy with this TCR Asia pole I took, given the difficult track,” admitted Chou. “It was not my primary objective, as I focused mostly on learning from yesterday’s mistakes and progressing.”

The Roadstar Racing driver emerged to be four tenths quicker than Craft Bamboo’s Frank Yu.
